Caterers Phil and Sunan Stringer
Our Catering team Phil and Sunan have a wealth of experience in Golf Club catering going back to Phil's first appointment at Epsom Golf Club in 1999 and including successful terms at Bramley, Henley-on-Thames and Hadley Wood Golf Club.
They also spent over 3 years at Windermere Motor Boat Racing Club. This is a private members club, here we gained a wealth of experience in functions and events.
Having trained as a chef in the Army Phil served 10 years throughout the world including, Germany, Gibraltar, Kenya, Londonderry and the Maze prison adding to this experience was a 3 year tour at a Military Hospital.
All of these experiences gave a good grounding in the trade before moving into pub and restaurant management before turning to Golf Clubs.
Sunan's fresh Thai cooking and keen interest in homemade desserts bring an added twist to the table, so if you fancy a Thai Buffet or Platter this can be arranged, her sticky toffee pudding is definately one to try.
Phil and Sunan will be offering regular Sunday Lunches, Supper Nights will be introduced including an Around the World Buffet. This gives our Members and Visitors the opportunity to sample the freshly prepared dishes and also the atmosphere.
