“Haven’t played Sandwell since the 90s and was delighted to be invited to play there recently. It was excellent as ever, greens quick and well undulated. A good test of golf with a friendly clubhouse and helpful staff. If I lived locally I would definitely apply to join.”

“We use Sandwell park golf club for our yearly society day... The course is always in excellent condition and never fails to bring great comments to those who have never been so lucky to play there. “The course is beautiful and if you want a really good challenge then this is the course for you. The greens are super fast and very difficult to get the right speed. If you get the wrong side of the hole it's nearly impossible to stop the ball going racing by the cup. Master the greens master the course.”

“Really enjoyed this course. Some great holes. Quite a few are tight but if you hit the ball straight off the tee then you will love it. I found the Par 3s a bit long but reachable. Excellent Pro Shop and Service was first class. We ate after the round and had a decent choice. I opted for the Gammon and it was excellent, large plate and lots of food on it. Deffo recommend this guys.”

“Just wanted to say a quick thank you for allowing us to participate in your open on Sunday. We were a 4 ball from Hinckley GC and thoroughly enjoyed the day. None of us had played there before, but found everyone friendly and helpful both on course and in the club house. The starter announcing us at the tee was great and something we'd all only seen on the tv - great fun for adding some nerves on that first tee shot ! The course itself was great - great layout, some nice intimidating tee shots and some really interesting greens that tested us to the max. Especially the 18th :) The food was also fantastic - and the Guinness was spot on too! Only one minor negative we found was the bunkers - quite a lot of stones and not really sandy (considering the course name) but we had a lot of rain the evening before that may have made them a little muddy. - and as i pointed out to the others - if you don't go in them you won't be punished! All in all - a great afternoon of golf. Thank you”
